One weekend in early February (it may have even been in January) we went to Roseville to do a little shopping after visiting Grandpa in Sacramento. The Galleria has a beautiful carousel, and my parents could not wait to get Scarlett on it.
Scarlett marched her cute little self right in to the line and patiently waited her turn.
When it came time to ride- though Grandma and Granddad were ecstatic, my Scarbaby was a little unsure.
The first time the horse took its plunge, it took her breath her away.
The next time she came around she had sheer terror in her eyes. Poor little baby.
Things were a little better once Granddad was holding her...
but I think she was afraid he was going to put her back on the horse (probably because every time they came around I yelled "just put her back on! She'll be fine!").
Scarlett has never been so happy to see something come to a stop.
We'll try the carousel again in a few more months.

Nicole I LOVE LOVE your updates. Scarlett is adorable and it is fun to see and read about your adventures together.
P.S. did you say you were headed my way? When?
